How to Read the News
Monday March 19 @ 6pm

Nominated for 6 Tony awards in 2016, this special screening of Broadway's She Loves Me is coming to the library! Starring Laura Benanti, Zachary Levi, Jane Krakowski, Gavin Creel, Byron Jennings, and Tom Mcgowan, She Loves Me is the story of Amalia and Georg, two parfumerie clerks who aren’t quite the best of friends. Constantly bumping heads while on the job, the sparring coworkers can’t seem to find common ground. But little do they know the anonymous pen pals they have both been falling for happen to be each other! Will love continue to blossom once their identities are finally revealed? 130 minutes.
PR specialist and journalist Stephanie Schwartz presents everything you need to know about finding and reading reliable news. Her presentation gives an overview of the news media and news literacy. Topics of discussion include types of journalism, bias, types of content, how people get news in our modern society, and more! Please call to register.
